Spring in the South

I love the change of seasons and for those of us who live in the South, these changes are often very subtle. That is one reason why I love azaleas. There is nothing suble about azaleas. February is the month our azaleas bloom. It is amazing to me how a seemingly plain, ordinary shrub can burst into a flurry of blossoms almost overnight. Azaleas are such simple flowers, but when viewed "en masse" they almost take your breathe away. There are many things I like about living in the South. Azaleas are at the top of that list. Happy Spring!

  2. Hi Mom! Are you a writer for Southern Living? You should see Country Living arrive any day now...

Did you like Josh's comment? He made sure I had him spell everything correctly.

    Love you!

  3. Hey Mom, as you know February is my favorite month in Florida because of the azaleas. I miss it so, and you!

  4. I am having problems with my blog on 2 levels. First, I misplaced the cord that connects my cell phone to my laptop so I cannot download all of my Lake Eola pix. Second, I am currently experiencing cookie errors and cannot access my blog to post. Basically, I am temporarily out of the blogging business. Nancy
